Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she was a performer in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia gave her a Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) in Communications and Theatre. Following her move between Missouri and Los Angeles in 2004, she became involved in the theatre arts. This included acting as well as conducting over 20 musicals. A few of the productions included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan for The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly started landing TV and film roles while she continued to study improvisation through The Groundlings. She also was a part of Theatre West. Her unique voice, and small size enabled Kelly to come up with an array of vibrant characters. Her most well-known role is her role alongside Naomi Watts taking over the character of evil Samara In The Ring 2 but is also more commonly recognized for her role as the bright and bubbly receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly worked as a TV Land Regular on the series between 2011 and 2015, appearing as paralegal during the daytime as well as a party girl at night. Kelly was also a regular as Alyssa's sassy, sexpert sister in the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the mother of a stressed suburban family in the CW show No Tomorrow. She is known for the soprano singing voice she has in numerous animated shows. This includes the cult show Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recently, she has appeared as the dim yet lovable Cloud 9 employees on NBC's Super-hit comedy Superstore. In private, she is a quiet person. She enjoys having time with her loved ones, including two young children.
