Andressa Urach

Andressa Urach was aged 15 when she was dating Tiago Costa. After three months of dating, they got married. Arthur Urach Costa (born May 19th May, 2005) was the sole child of the couple. Due to marital discord they divorced in 2008 following more than six years as a couple. Andressa relocated together with their son in their mother's home. Following a six-month break, she lost her position and decided to take her son back to his father, in hopes of pursuing the life of a better chance and opportunities in Sao Paulo. Being vain, ambitious and a very self-confident woman, the principal motive for her leaving her home in the South in order to move to Sao Paulo, was in the hope of achieving fame and wealth. Andressa Urach claims in her book Morri para Viver that she was abused sexually from 2-8 years old by her foster grandfather. Andressa was able to conquer all issues because her foster mother was aware of the situation and returned her to live in her home. The mother of the child was not conscious of the abuse she suffered until Andressa released the book. In interviews with her, she revealed that it had been impossible for her before the moment of her transformation. Forgiveness of her abusive partner was an idea she considered impossible to achieve. In one of my hardest choices, I contacted the person who had assaulted me sexually. It was not an easy thing to do. After many prayer symphonies and fasting, I proclaimed on the phone that I forgive him and while I didn't feel guilty I also asked for forgiveness. It was an easy plea. It was not a reason to justifiably justify my behavior. Mariste Urach in an article published by Globo, describes what she did when she learned of her daughter's harassment.
