Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist competing in the flyweight division in the UFC. She's older than her fellow UFC Fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her combat sports journey as a Muay Thai kickboxer. She made her debut at the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko was the winner of the event and beat Suzane Miller in the finals via the unanimous vote. Antonina then won the Silver Medal in 2007, a bronze Medal in 2008, and a Golden medal in 2011, the IFMA Amateure Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia started her professional journey when she was in the year 2003. She has taken home numerous awards, such as the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships the Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships as well as the WMC as well as Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina was the last time she fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas during her fight at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was a unanimous one. Antonina Schevchenko kicked off career-long MMA professional career back in the year 2002 after a win over Anara Baanova, during the KFK Championships of Kyrgystan. She won the fight via second-round TKO and also won her subsequent two fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003. She compiled the record of 3-0. Shevchenko was absent from MMA so that she could focus on boxing. She returned against Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko won against Anissa by a unanimous vote. She then went on to knock out Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. She left the promotion in 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina defeated Nievera by her impressive striking ability in the final clinch by using knees on the body. Antonina Shevchenko received an UFC Contract after this victory. Antonina Shevchenko made her debut in UFC at The TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was victorious in the unanimous decision, but was defeated in her next fight by Roxanne Modafferi on a split decision. Antonina recovered from the loss to defeat Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned an extra fight in the night in this fight. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 in her three subsequent matches which included a win over Ariane Lipski while being defeated by Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO during UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
