Colson Kelly, who is also referred to as Machine Gun Kelly, has distinct rapping styles. Baker was born on 22 April 1990 in Houston Texas U.S. into the family of English Scottish and German descent. In his early years Baker spent a large amount of time travelling with his parents who were missionaries. James Colson Baker battled depression and unemployment, and his mother Sonia Alane dumped him at age 9. Baker's father emigrated along with his son to Denver and they lived at the aunt of his father. Baker suffered bullying from other children in his neighborhood because due to his poverty. As he entered sixth grade, Baker was able to study rap. Colson Baker, better known as Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on the 22nd of April 1990. The rapper is most well-known for his hip hop infused with rock and contemporary alternative. Before signing with Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and the year 2010. The Cleveland rapper, who wrote songs at the speed that of a fast bullet saw an explosive growth when in 2011, he made the switch from self-released mixtapes to established labels. His career took off from there, with all of his records making the top ten charts.
